Lots of the cottages are very close to the coast and the sunsets are wonderful. It's excellent for cycling. Worldwide Landing at Paphos went south to 'Coral Bay'. Theres no coral and no bay. If you want to feel like your in a council estate in Birmingham, but with a small cold pool, stay there. Took a chance, rented a car, went inland. This was about five years ago. The roads scare the bejesus out of men. We investigated the Troodos. Go inland and be friendly. Worldwide If you go directly west from Orlando you'll find the places where people enjoy the life. On the way there you might see all the little 'homesteads' set down in ditches hidden by billboards. There are some wonderful places to stay in the gulf of Mexico. Coastal houses that Hopper could have painted. They are so friendly and welcoming and provide some of the best food around. Just be careful of their rice wines, man they can be deceptive. They are often basic but so so good. We came across a market on way to Ha Saing high in the mountains and I was suprised on two counts, selling colour telly's and a scooter with the badge of Liverpool FC on the front! Vietnam Well let's just say that the term Sauna is a very loose interpretation, but if you can imagine a very middle aged english man in a "situation" well it was funny afterwards! Vietnam Well let's say they have their fair share of good roads and they have their fairer share of mud baths and rocks. Well can still be fun even on the main roads when you come round the corner and nearly demolish yourself into a Buffalo having a dump! Hanoi If you want to take a trip on a bike and need a guide, trust me it is worth it, then use Off Road Vietnam in the heart of the old quarter. We had a guide who was superb, kept us well fed and watered as well as amused, top guy Anh Wu Vietnam As for a good time, despite the rain for four days there was some good fun in the North East.
